Description

Our camping cabins are historic 80 yr old WWII Army Air Corps Flight Training Officers Quarters. All are refinished in cedar with hardwood floors, clean bathrooms, hot showers, sinks, bunk beds, double beds or daybeds and ceiling fans. All cabins are AC and/or heated.

Notes

All cabins are No Smoking! No utensils included. Lines provided, but please bring own towels, wash cloths and toiletries. Loaner coffee pots, toasters and irons available.

Directions

Driving here on I10 from cities such as Austin, San Antonio, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, San Marcos, etc: Take I10 west until you get to Balmorhea. Take Hwy 17 south to Ft Davis, (37 mi). Driving here from Midland or Odessa: Take I20 west to Pecos (76 mi). At Pecos, take Hwy 17 south to I10 (34 mi). Take I10 west for 2 mi until you come to Balmorhea. Take Hwy 17 south to Ft Davis (37 mi). There are only two ways into Ft Davis and our campground: Hwy 17/118 Southbound or Hwy 17/118 Northbound. We are located on this main road, in the town of Ft Davis, .25 mi north of the County Courthouse or .75 mi south of the Old Ft Davis NHS.
