Description

Elk River Group Lodge is a unique facility, which enables several members of a group to stay in the same dwelling. It is especially attractive to family reunions, church retreats and fishing clubs. The setting for the lodge is within a cove off of Elk River. The commercial-type kitchen is a plus for large groups. A deep fryer, restaurant-style grill (limited cookware) and commercial ice maker make serving your group easier. At the entrance to the building is a day room that serves as an area to socialize or hold a small meeting.

Directions

Rogersville center:SE on Lee St toward Wheeler St, 1st right onto Wheeler St, 1st right onto AL-2 W/US-72 W, left at McLean Dr, and destination will be on the right. Joe Wheeler Cabins and registration office are located at the south side of Wheeler Dam on Al. Hwy 101. It is 10 mi from the lodge, campground, marina, and golf course.
