Description
Picture yourself on the deck of a beautiful cabin, pondering the serenity of the wilderness. Look for our resident moose or listen to the great horned owl in his favorite lookout tree on top of the hill. Smell the scent of wildflowers in the clean, fresh mountain air. Knik River Lodge is remote enough to be true wilderness, yet just one hour by car from Anchorage. Perfectly situated for exploring South-central Alaska, we invite you to share our magical part of the world. Our cabins are well appointed and offer most of the comforts of home. Down duvets, luxurious bedding, great food and amenities usually only found in deluxe hotels guarantee a comfortable stay in the Alaskan wilderness. Our purpose is to replenish and revive you- because tomorrow you may take a helicopter flight to the magnificent Knik Glacier just a few minutes away or embark on another epic adventure. If you love the great outdoors as much as comfort and privacy, the Knik River Lodge is the perfect spot for your Alaskan lodging and accommodations with our remote wilderness cabins, helicopter tours, dog sledding and glacier activities.
